BLOODSTOCK 2018 FINALISES HEADLINERS

One of the biggest UK Metal festivals going, Bloodstock wowed audiences for yet another year back in August and has now returned with a line up even stronger than in previous years. Finally announcing their third headliner this Saturday via a Facebook Live with Metal Hammer the unholy trinity for 2018 is now complete.

With 2017’s festival being the biggest to date for the record books of Bloodstock, its line up was absolutely stacked. Featuring three absolutely astonishing bands coming together, vikings Amon Amarth, Ghost’s ghoulish rituals and the Thrash overlords Megadeth Bloodstock was an absolute roaring success. Not to mention that a whopping £11,686.88 was raised for Teenage Cancer Trust charity. Which is a celebration in itself!

Following Saturday’s main support that was Kreator’s set the crowd went silent as Bloodstock’s headliners for 2018 were announced! Having performed their absolutely incredible set last year as main support to Mastodon on Saturday French geniuses Gojira were announced as the first of three of the headliners, followed by the double whammy of Nightwish it was an announcement for the ages.

Keeping us waiting for their third and final headliner, Bloodstock had an exclusive reveal of their final band this Saturday, having speculated for weeks since the previous Bloodstock and at last it was revealed to be Judas Priest! The Metal Demi gods, will be headlining Friday’s events.

The band stated :

“Judas Priest are thrilled, honoured and primed, ready to unleash Priest-style metal fury into the headbanging heart and home of heavy metal at Bloodstock 2018!”

Now THAT is a line up and a half, hopefully we’ll be seeing some fantastic cuts from the likes of Painkiller and of course their old school classics. Yet another varied line up that will no doubt inspire a legion more of Metal heads.

Tickets are available right now from a price of £125 for the early bird tickets and £145 after the early bird time expires. You can pick up tickets here.
