What's new?

How does watching one of Horror’s most classic movies, in a theatre full of clowns that have been made up AND having a load of Kraken Rum sound? I know right. I’ll be there too!

Chosen from a list that brings the likes of A Nightmare on Elm Street to life, Texas Chainsaw Massacre’s Leatherface dicing through the screen, Michael Myers from Halloween returning from the dead once more on October 13th, Friday 13th (coincidence? I think not).

Kraken will be hosting a special one off event. Held at The Rio in Dalston Kingsland, a film that has been picked out of a total of ten potentials will be screened in a cinema full of clowns (move over Pennywise). In a recent survey to determine what was the scariest character in Horror, clowns won hands down. With an entire audience made up to look like zombie clowns, its no doubt going to be one of the Horror events of the year.

Despite the competition having ended, the list of films are as follows and they’re ALL bangers :

1. Texas Chainsaw Massacre
2. Halloween
3. It
4. The Shining
5. Hellraiser
6. Nightmare on Elm Street
7. The Ring
8. The Babadook
9. The Evil Dead
10. The Blair Witch Project

Some of these are my all time favourite movies and if I got the chance to see The Texas Chainsaw Massacre in a cinema full of clowns, I think I might die, no pun intended.

So do you fancy coming along too? If so, its just a £10 fee and arriving at 6:30 to get made up as clowns. You’ll also be getting two drinks of Kraken Rum and some deep sea Pick ‘n’ mix too! GET. IN. Make sure you also tag #SCREAMFORKRAKEN too!
