What's new?

Iamthemorning’s pianist extraordinaire Gleb Kolyadin has announced a self titled debut album with a whole host of guests!

From the likes of Dream Theater keyboard wizard Jordan Rudess, to established sticks master Gavin Harrison, it seems that nothing was spared on the man’s solo project. Enlisting the help of Nick Beggs on bass, Theo Travis on flute who has worked many a time with the wonderful Steven Wilson and Steve Hogarth’s inimitable voice.

Today the solo artist debut’s his first video for “The Best of Days“, the lyric video features the likes of Hogarth, which kind of surprised me given that I thought it would be a solo piano affair. Either way come February 23rd when the album is released via Kscope, the Prog world will no doubt be raving.

Having had numerous accolades and won the Prog Album of The Year award last year for the magnificent Lighthouse, there are big things to come from Kolyadin and his pals and I for one am incredibly excited to see what it brings! Watch the video now and you’ll be able to hear the unmistakable sound of Kolyadin’s playing.

Gleb Kolyadin’s self title solo album is set for a February 2018 release via Kscope. You can preorder a copy of the album here!
